Viral Loops Integrations: CRM, Email, Ecommerce & Rewards

Connect your referral program to the tools you already use

Your referral program should work with your existing marketing tools—not create another disconnected process.

Viral Loops connects with CRM platforms, email marketing tools, ecommerce stores, reward providers and analytics services to help you bring referrals into your customer journey.

Whether you’re growing a newsletter, launching a product or rewarding customers for successful referrals, explore the options below to find the right connection for your campaign.

Before you start: Some connections are configured directly in Viral Loops, while others use webhooks, third-party automation platforms or website installation. Supported features and setup requirements vary by integration, campaign template and plan.

CRM integrations: connect referrals with your sales process

Bring referral information into the tools your team uses to manage leads and customers.

Integration

What you can do

Sync participants and contacts, import existing contacts, and track Won opportunities as conversions in campaigns with conversion tracking enabled.

Send participants and their referral details to HubSpot, import existing contacts, and use referral information in your customer communications.

Salesforce

Automatically register new Leads and Contacts through the Participation Workflow, and track won deals through the Conversion Workflow.

Zoho

Bring referral data into your CRM and connect your referral program with your existing Zoho workflows.

GoHighLevel’s integration is available across all Viral Loops plans. Features such as opportunity-based conversion tracking still require the appropriate campaign configuration.

Salesforce requirement: The automatic participation and conversion workflows rely on Salesforce Outbound Messages. This feature is available in Enterprise, Unlimited, Performance and Developer editions.

Email marketing integrations: turn referral activity into relevant messages

Connect your referral campaign with your email platform to welcome new participants, share personal referral links and follow up with your audience.

Integration

What you can do

Connect your campaign to a Mailchimp audience and use participant referral information in your emails.

Send participant details, referral links and referral counts to Klaviyo for segmentation and personalized communications.

Add campaign participants to your selected list, together with referral information and supported custom fields.

Automatically add new Brevo list contacts to your campaign using the integration’s webhook configuration.

Connect your campaign and configure webhooks to automatically register new Customer.io users in Viral Loops.

Store campaign-specific referral codes and counts, including when one Iterable account is connected to multiple campaigns.

Connect referral campaigns with Marketo and configure contact syncing through the documented webhook setup.

Add participants as Mailjet contacts and use your Mailjet account to send campaign emails.

Add referred participants to a Wishpond list and give existing list members their own referral links.

Check the direction of your sync: Sending new participants to an email platform and importing existing contacts into Viral Loops are different actions. Follow your integration’s guide to confirm which options are supported and whether an initial import is needed.

More options for newsletter publishers

Newsletter-specific connections also include Ghost, Kit / ConvertKit, AWeber, Campaign Monitor, BirdSend and Substack.

Explore these options to give readers personal referral links and build a referral experience around your newsletter. Setup and syncing methods differ by platform.

Ecommerce, payments and rewards: connect referrals with business outcomes

Go beyond collecting sign-ups. Connect your campaign with purchase tracking and reward fulfillment.

Integration

What you can do

Run a customer referral program within your store, with referral widgets and incentives such as discounts and free products.

Record qualifying Stripe purchases as conversions. Track all products or selected products, along with their conversion value.

Connect eligible campaign rewards with Stripe incentives such as coupons or account credits.

Connect campaign rewards with gift cards and other payout options available through your Tremendous account.

Match Viral Loops rewards with items in your Sendoso account, such as gift cards or merchandise.

Important: Earning a reward and sending it are separate steps. Connecting a reward provider does not, by itself, mean every earned reward is immediately delivered. Configure the reward mapping and redemption process described in the relevant guide.

For template and plan requirements, see Rewards in Viral Loops.

Analytics and notifications: understand your referral performance

Connect campaign activity with your reporting tools and keep your team informed.

Integration

What you can do

Track Viral Loops participant events and conversions within GA4.

Track campaign activity for advertising measurement and audience-building.

Send a configured participation event to Segment when someone joins your campaign.

Mixpanel

Connect campaign data with your Mixpanel analytics setup.

Receive participant notifications and campaign performance reports in Slack.

The Slack notification integration is different from the Slack sharing option participants use to share their referral links. This integration is for keeping your team updated on campaign activity.

Automation and partner connections: build the workflow you need

Need to connect another tool or add a custom step to your referral process? These options extend your campaign through automation platforms and webhooks.

Connection

What you can do

Connect supported campaign events with actions in other apps, or register new participants using data from another tool.

Build visual workflows using the Viral Loops app maintained by Make, including participant registration, milestone events and reward-redemption events.

Pabbly Connect and Integrately

Connect Viral Loops with other services through third-party automation workflows.

Use Omnisend’s documented webhook connection to receive participant, conversion, milestone and reward-redemption events for messaging and segmentation.

Build SMS workflows that respond to supported Viral Loops campaign events.

These connections may require a separate account with the automation platform or service. Available triggers, actions and any associated charges depend on that provider.

Website installation and custom integrations

Viral Loops also offers installation options for websites built with WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Leadpages, Unbounce and Instapage. These let you place the referral experience on your own website; they should not be confused with automatic syncing of every form or customer record.

Using an existing form? Start with our Typeform integration guide or review the implementation options in the Developer Guide.

For a more customized setup, you can use:

  • API: Connect your own application and report supported participant, conversion and reward actions.

  • Webhooks: Send supported campaign events to your own systems or other services.

  • Custom JavaScript: Run your own code in response to supported campaign interactions.

How to get started

Open your campaign and go to Edit → Integrations to find the connection you need. Follow its setup guide, authorize the connection and save your campaign changes.

For reward providers, start in Rewards Management. For website installation, use the campaign’s Installation step.

Before launching, run a test participant through the complete flow so you can check that the expected data, conversion or reward action reaches the connected platform.
